Rev. Hector L Santos is a life-long resident of the state of Massachusetts. He holds a MSW from Springfield College and a CAGS in bilingual education from UMASS. He has over 20 years of experience in education and 15 as psychotherapist. He is a Massachusetts licensed clinical social worker, licensed school administrator, and licensed school guidance counselor. He is currently working in Holyoke Public School in MA.
Pastor Santos has been involved in many social activism projects for the community. He was a member of Springfield Police Community Complaint Review Board, member of Springfield Police C3 Forest Park, and field supervisor for Boston University Social Work Program and Smith College. He is an advocate for families of low socio-economic status in Springfield and Holyoke and was awarded in 2006 with the Mary Keenley Award for the social worker of the year.
Rev. Santos is a member of the Executive Board of the NHCLC and is currently serving as an educational consultant.
Rev. Santos is considered by many fellow clergy in the state of Ma. as a leader in the community. He is passionate about the role the church plays in making sure minorities are treated with fairness and justice.
Pastor Santos is happily married to his soul mate, Ileana Quiles for over 20 years.
